Refund and cancellation policy
Last updated 22 August 2026. Any charge can be refunded in full within 14 days if you ask; subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and keep working until the paid period ends. Moonway is software, so there is nothing to return — a refund simply ends the license it paid for.
Pro and Team subscriptions
- Cancel any time from your account page (Manage billing). The plan stays active until the end of the month or year you have paid for, then does not renew. You can resume before it ends and nothing is lost.
- Within 14 days of any charge — the first purchase or a renewal — write to us and we refund that charge in full. The subscription ends when the refund is issued and the installation returns to the free tier.
- After 14 days we do not refund the remainder of a period; cancelling is the tool for that, and it costs nothing.
- Team seats — adding seats mid-period is charged pro rata for the rest of the period; removing seats is credited pro rata against your next invoice rather than refunded in cash. Seats cannot go below the number of people in the organization.
Lifetime licenses
A Lifetime license can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. After the refund the lifetime license ends and the account returns to the free tier (or to whatever subscription it still holds). After 14 days a Lifetime purchase is final. The offer being withdrawn later does not affect a license already bought.
The free tier
Free is free — there is nothing to refund, no trial that ends, and no card on file.
How to ask
- Email support@moonway.io from the address on your account. Say which charge; a reason is welcome but not required.
- We confirm within two business days and issue the refund through Stripe, which processed the payment. Refunds go back to the original payment method; banks usually show them within 5–10 business days.
- Your receipt and the refund both appear under Manage billing on your account page.
If something is wrong with a charge — a double charge, a renewal you did not expect — write to us before disputing it with your bank; it is faster for you and it keeps your account clean.
Who charges you
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record: it is the name on your statement, it collects applicable taxes, and its terms govern the transaction. This policy is what we commit to on top of that.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live. Consumers in the EU and UK, for instance, have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases; our window is meant to be at least as generous, and where the law grants you more, the law wins.
